The Tan Yan Kee Foundation, Inc.’s HOPE Caravan team spearheads a calamity assistance mission with PAL Foundation in Dingalan, Aurora, one of the towns that was badly damaged by Super Typhoon Karding. The Foundations distributed sacks of rice, hygiene kits, assorted food items and pillows to 750 families from Barangays Paltik, Yakal and Almaciga whose main livelihood is fishing.

The food donation benefitted approximately 4,000 individuals, mostly from low income fishing families who are struggling to fix damaged or lost houses and boats to earn a living.
