The Tan Yan Kee Foundation Inc.,(TYKFI) has recently collaborated on an Anti-COVID 19 Vaccination Activity with partner companies in response to the increasing cases of the viral infection.
Philip Sing, TYKFI general manager, accepted 200 vials of MODERNA vaccine from the Specialty Pulp Manufacturing, Inc. (SPMI), the company which donated the vaccine. SPMI has sought the Foundation’s assistance in screening eligible recipients of the vaccines and coordinating with the UE Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center, Incorporated the partner hospital which will administer them.
Mr. Sing said that the vials may benefit up to 4,000 individuals for their initial or booster shots. This vaccination activity is in line with the government’s anti-COVID 19 campaign to prevent another pandemic surge in the country. TYKFI and its sister company UERMMCI shall serve eligible vaccinees including senior citizens, healthcare frontliners and patients with co-morbidities.
