Project Citizen Philippines, a partnership of Tan Yan Kee Foundation and the Philippine Center for Civic Education and Democracy, reached Calabarzon, Northern Luzon, Tagbilaran, and Zamboanga going beyond the the National Capital Region which was its main focus over the last five years.
In 2010, 160 more teachers, 111 schools, and 1,545 high school students underwent the rigid training in July in preparation for the preliminary and final showcases in December and early 2011.

The Final Showcase for the National Capital Region yielded 36 for preliminaries and then trimmed down to five showcase finalists. The winners under the various categories are:
