The Tan Yan Kee Library made summer 2008 a time of learning and fun with various activities meant to broaden knowledge and provide a great experience.
Activities not only aimed to improve the participants’ Chinese Language Communication Skills but also to develop children’s personalities. With the themes “Safety First” and “Following Rules,” participatory lessons on moral values, etiquette and safety were held.
Children had fun with storytelling sessions using Chinese fables as well as film showing.
Classes in Chinese music were also held. Culminating activities included singing, play acting and also highlighted a Mother’s Day presentation and a Graduation Day activity.
